Post-purchase messages on WhatsApp.

Every order gets a thank-you on WhatsApp. A week later, Querygen asks how it went: happy customers get your review link, and anyone with a problem goes straight to your team.

How it works

  1. 01 · When

Shopify sends a purchase event through Zapier

  2. 02 · Querygen

A journey sends a thank-you, then asks how it went 7 days later

  3. 03 · Then

Happy customers get a review link, and problems go to your team

What your customer sees

A normal WhatsApp chat with your business. They never see the automation behind it.

What else post-purchase journeys do

Built on the journey canvas

Set it up

  1. 1

    Send orders into Querygen

Your store sends an “order placed” event through Zapier or the API, with details like the product and amount.

  2. 2

Start a journey on that event

The journey sends the thank-you, waits 7 days, then asks how it went with two reply buttons.

  3. 3

    Split on the answer

“Loved it” gets your review link. “Had a problem” hands the chat to your team with the order details.

  4. 4

    Turn it on

Every new order starts its own journey. The journey report shows how many people reached each step.

Make it your own

Only big orders

Ask for a photo

Invite happy customers to send a photo of the product for your Instagram.

Offer the next purchase

Add a step a few weeks later with something that goes with what they bought.

Questions

What starts the journey?+

An “order placed” event from your store, sent through Zapier or the Querygen API. Each order starts a journey for that customer.

Do these messages need templates?+

Messages sent outside WhatsApp's 24-hour window, like a check-in 7 days later, need a template Meta has approved. You create each one once and reuse it.

What happens when someone has a problem?+

The journey hands the chat to your team. They see the conversation and the order details, and reply from the shared inbox.

Can it skip orders I don't want to follow up?+

Yes. Filter the event by its properties, such as amount or product category, so only the orders you choose start the journey.
