Interakt and Querygen both help Indian businesses sell on WhatsApp and Instagram. They are built around different jobs.
Interakt is built around sending: broadcasts, chatbot flows, catalog sync, and payments on the official WhatsApp Business API. Querygen is built around conversations: an AI agent that answers from your catalog, customer profiles filled in from what people say in chat, and leads, tasks, and follow-ups that come out of those chats.
If you mostly send broadcasts, Interakt will probably cost you less. If your sales happen in back-and-forth chats, read on.

- Your main job is broadcasts and drag-and-drop chatbot flows on the official API.
- You sell on Shopify or WooCommerce and want catalog sync and WhatsApp Pay.
- You want RCS as a fallback when a WhatsApp message fails.
- Your team sells in back-and-forth chats and needs AI replies from a large catalog, in Hindi or Hinglish.
- You want customer details (budget, city, product interest) filled in from chats and used to target campaigns.
- Leads, tasks, payment reminders, and follow-ups should come out of conversations on their own.
- Some of your team works from personal WhatsApp numbers or in WhatsApp groups, not only an API number.

The plan fee is the obvious difference. Interakt starts lower, and its paid plans cost about a third of Querygen's. The gap narrows when you need what Querygen includes: Interakt's AI agent add-on (₹3,000) and Sales CRM plan (₹2,499) add ₹5,499 a month if you need both, which takes Growth to ₹8,298.
For campaign-heavy teams, look at the per-message math. Querygen charges 1 credit (₹1) for each campaign message it sends, and on a Business API number Meta bills its own marketing fee separately. If most of what you do is broadcast to large lists, Interakt will usually be the cheaper tool.

Where Interakt is the better choice
A small budget and a simple job. If you want to send order updates and a festive offer to customers who opted in, Interakt does that for a fraction of Querygen's monthly fee.
Shopify or WooCommerce stores. Catalog sync, WhatsApp Pay, and store integrations are ready-made on Interakt. Querygen answers product questions from a catalog you add to its knowledge base, but doesn't list a Shopify or WooCommerce connection.
Teams that like designing flows. If you want to draw every branch of a chatbot yourself, Interakt's drag-and-drop builder is built for that. Querygen deliberately doesn't have one.
Where Querygen is the better choice
Large catalogs and unscripted questions. The Wrapping Store has 1,496 products. Customers send screenshots and ask about sizes, colours, and prices in their own words. Querygen's Autopilot answered 583 product lookups across 807 conversations in five weeks. That is hard to do with a flow you draw by hand. Here is how automated replies work in Querygen.
Selling from personal numbers and groups. Real estate teams, distributors, and communities often sell from each person's own WhatsApp and in groups. Happy Eaters uses Querygen to answer parents' questions across six WhatsApp groups. Querygen connects those numbers directly, and you can add an official API number alongside them.
Using what customers say. When a customer mentions their budget, city, or event date, Querygen saves it to their profile. You can then build a segment such as "asked for a price this week, hasn't ordered, lives in Pune" and send them a personalized campaign.

You can connect a WhatsApp Business API number to Querygen through Meta's Embedded Signup (see the setup guide), and import customers as a CSV with a phone column to use as a campaign audience. If your number is currently connected through Interakt, talk to us before you start and we'll walk you through moving it. Many teams also keep a personal WhatsApp number connected for day-to-day sales chats.

For a team that mainly sends broadcasts, Interakt will usually cost less.
Does Interakt support personal WhatsApp numbers?
Interakt's website describes its product around the official WhatsApp Business API and does not list support for connecting personal WhatsApp numbers or WhatsApp groups. Querygen supports both personal numbers and official Business API numbers in the same workspace.
Which is better for Instagram automation?
Both handle Instagram DMs and comments. Querygen also imports your Instagram posts and Reels as a product catalog, so a shared post link can be matched to the right product, and runs follow-ups on Instagram DMs when a customer goes quiet.
Does Querygen have a drag-and-drop chatbot builder?
